Especially in the shoe department! I NEVER find shoes that I like/are in my size. Here are some of the things I got.

Issac Mizrahi for Target Clutch

This is my absolute BEST find for today. It's a MONET bracelet that Retails for $35 dollars at Macy's.(Tags were still on too) I got this BRAND NEW.( Who would go and donate something brand spankin new? I dunno.. ) Cause I looked it up for curiosity's sake and saw that they are STILL selling these.

It's so freaking pretty. I got it for like $14.99, I normally would NEVER buy anything especially a bracelet for that much but considering they were $35 I thought it was a good deal.

Then I got these earrings, which match a necklace I bought at the thriftstore too :3

Another two Issac Mizrahi for Target shoes. SUUUPPPPER cute. BUT omg, weird to walk in because of the ankle straps on the wedges. And the blacks ones are SUPER comfortable. They are a half size bigger but I think I could prolly find something to help them stick to my heel a little better. But I love the lil' dart details. I think I might actually go and find the nude colored ones at Target and pay full price since 1. The are comfortable as hell! 2. super cute. 3. I need a pair of nude heels.

Seriously? I really wanted to find something girlie and comfortable for summer so I can stop wearing sneakers n socks D: sweaty feets...eww..

Aren't they just ADORABLE?!?! So I convince my hubby to come with me to pick these up, and sadly all they had was brown and black ( I was sooo hoping for this color) and I try them on since the reviews just RAVE about how comfortable they are.
.......I couldn't even take one step in them. -__________- I was so excited, but I could hardly keep balance in these. And usually I wear heels regularly in the summer. (Post baby) Which I stopped doing because I'm in no way risking the safety of my baby for the sake of fashion. But I wanted these to wear for later when she's older and I wouldn't have to carry her everywhere and worry about falling. So I opted out for a more toned down wedge. Which was still comfortable and girlie for the summertime. I have a problem wearing things like flats, I have such a high arch on my foot that when I buy shoes I need there to be alot of cush to wear them and be comfortable. And the ones I got were on clearance for $10!! So I still feel like I didn't luck out in this situation. (post a pic later of the ones I bought)

Elf Sparkling Eye Edition Review

So I was searching around on youtube because I remember hearing from somewhere that this ELF Beauty Book was a dupe for the limited edition Urban Decay Shadow Boxes. So I was doing some research and I came across DivaMakeupQueen and I looked at her blog, she showed swatches comparing the two brands together. Which was very convincing. So I went out and bought it, and tried it for myself. I haven't done any looks with this so far, but o.m.g. just from doing the swatches it's horrible ( chunky, glittery, chalkyness, ) on four of the colors which I'll mark with an RED X. But the other colors marked with a RED checkmark are actually really, really nice. (smooth, pigmented, easy to blend, more of a satin finish) It' also comes with two cream shadows both I thought weren't that great, they felt really light in texture I don't think they would be to great as a base by themselves. I would definetly use a primer first. A small brown eyeliner and spongebrush are also in there, The brush broke on me in the first use and the eyeliner ( it's from the eyebrightening line) isn't very long wearing as eyeliner. But it would be more useful to use as a base for the brown colors. So this palette is a hit and miss for me. I'm just glad I didn't go out and buy the Urban Decay one since Urban Decay in itself ( a lot of the eyeshadows anyway) are super glittery. Something I don't like too much. So for $5 dollars I'd say this is a good buy, I may not like the glitteryness of some of the colors but other people might.

Hit or Miss?

So I've been looking on Torrid for some summer dresses. I haven't decided to either break down go to the mall and spend the money or try to make my own from the fabric that I have or go buy more ( mind you the fabric I have isn't really suitable for summer) So either way I'm spending the money. So I saw these two dresses. Both hitting the plaid trend. But one I think looks like it has been completely smashed together out of the leftover fabric.

Dress #1 ( the cute one, in my opinion):
I like how the plaid is in a flattering color, the dress is formfitting, it has cute lil ruffle details on the sleeves and color. And it doesn't look like she's drowning in the dress.

Dress# 2 ( the smashed one XD):
I just don't like the weird cutout plaid shapes on her boobs! It looks like it's just falling off of her. like a towel or something...:/ And the freaking boots they paired with them! uggh...I would have like to maybe see some wedges or smaller ankle booties. But these are just slouchy looking.

What do you guys think?

Intro!

Heya everyone! My name is Michelle and I live in St. Paul, MN. Last year I started a DIY beauty channel on youtube and I'm hoping to expand onto fashion. I recently started sewing; to alter things from the thrift store, create something new out of something old, and to try my hand at making an entire outfit from a pattern (one day...) I am also a plus size girl. And like any plus size girl I am frustrated with the fashion choices that are out there for plus size women. Or the lack there of...BUT! I do have to defend that the fashion industry are trying! They had definetly expanded from ( when I was young) the only thing I would see in the plus size section were non-formfitting, insanley colored shirts with obnoxious cartoons....old lady librarian style dresses, and sweats. This has ALWAYS frustrated me. Luckily my mom knew how to sew and she would make me outfits that I'd pick out from the catalog. Since now I am almost thirty...wow...I know! I still get mistaken for a 16 yr old which is flattering and annoying at the same time...(cause of my voice, it's squeaks...anywhos...) I've been reallly getting into fashion lately. And I hate how some designers, just because they make it in the bigger size that we should be happy with it? There are sooo many cute outfits I think that are definetly A LOT cuter on the smaller girls, and just look wierd on the big gals. Why can't there be more companies in the big chain stores who cater for us big gals? You know, actually design outfits that fit our shapes? Anyway it's late, and I need to go to bed :/ Night yall!
